GENERAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION

  • No paper registration forms will be accepted for this program – all families must register online.
  • The registration period is January 9, 2017 to April 1st, 2017. Register early – spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Registration Fee Increase: Registrations received after March 1, 2017 will be subject to a $25 fee increase.
  • Please note that registration spaces are not guaranteed.
  • Families are invited to review the Club’s F.A.Q. available HERE;
  • Payment can be made online in-full at the time of registration or you may pay at office by Cheque, Cash, Debit or Financial Assistance. Please note that payment will not be accepted in the office until the online pre-registration has been completed.
  • Families choosing to pay in office are required to ensure payment is received by the office within 7 calendar days of the registration.
  • Proof of age is required for all NEW families to the Club. Please submit to the office within 2 weeks of registration.

ONLINE REGISTRATION
The WMSC is utilizing Power Up Sports as the Club’s exclusive online registration service provider. The system should provide a simple, easy to use, end user experience, and we are excited to have you login for the first time. We have started fresh with this new system, therefore, all members should first click the ‘Sign Up’ option to create themselves a profile. Follow the steps, and once you’ve setup your family, you can register for the programs that are active.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
Online Payments: Mastercard, Visa or Visa Debit are accepted online at the time of registration.
Pay at Office: Cheque, Cash, Debit or Financial Assistance may be processed at the office

Please note: All NSF payments are subject to a $40 fee. Player will be placed on a team only after the full fee has been received by the Club and if space is still available.

FAMILY RATE DISCOUNT
Families registering three (3) or more players in the Club’s Recreational Program / Competitive Program are entitled to a base discount of $20 per player. If you are eligible for this Family Rate Discount, the online registration system will automatically calculate the discount.

FEE ASSISTANCE
Fee Assistance Leisure Access Program is a program of financial support for residents with low income living in Waterloo, that helps individuals participate in City of Waterloo recreational and affiliated minor sport and arts programs. The assistance is given in the form of a credit to eligible individuals. Please apply ahead of time and have your Access Card available when you register. The amount of subsidy is based on total family income.

REFUND POLICY
Generally, unless for a compassionate reason such as season-ending injury, refunds will not be issued once the program has started. All refunds are subject to a $40 administrative fee. If you are approved for a refund, a pro-rated refund will be issued. For refund considerations please complete the Refund Request Form.

  • $250 – U7/U8 (born 2009, 2010)
  • $250 – U9/U10 (born 2007, 2008)
  • $275 – U12 to U19 Mixed (born 1998 to 2006)

UNIFORMS

  • Each registered player receives a complete uniform (socks, shorts, shirt)
  • Shin pads are mandatory for all ages.
  • Running Shoes are permitted for Soccer Fun only. All others divisions require outdoor soccer cleats.
  • No item of jewellery is permitted on the field. Medical alert bracelets excluded. Earrings must be removed. Taping of earrings is not permitted.
  • Hard casts are not permitted.

VOLUNTEERS

FIELDS
All fields, dates and times, are subject to change. Cancellations due to weather are posted on our website by 4:00 pm daily. Follow us on twitter @WMSC1 for field updates and club information.

ROSTER ASSIGNMENT / CHANGING TEAMS / TEAMMATE REQUEST
Once team rosters are set and schedules are finalized, requests for team changes will not be accommodated. WMSC reserves the right to make roster changes to ensure the divisions are balanced.
